Since the day we were founded, we have adopted the philosophy of providing benefit to the society both with our main business lines and socially. As Sera Group, we will continue our social responsibility projects by producing, prioritizing science, understanding the needs of society and creating social awareness. Our corporate social responsibility perspective is based on the following topics:
- Education of young people and equality of opportunity in education,
- Supporting entrepreneurs,
- Providing support to disaster areas.
Youth and Science:Our corporate social responsibility strategy focuses on science and education projects, especially for children and youth, in the field of social responsibility. With these projects, we provide social benefits by facilitating students' access to science and success and strengthening equality of opportunity in education.
Through the Sani Şener Foundation, we have been providing scholarships to hundreds of students at every educational level from various schools and universities of the country for years.
The "Science Migration to Anatolia" project of the Young Guru Academy (YGA), which was established with the aim of leaving a better world for future generations, was realized in Feride-Ahmet Şener Secondary School in Tonya district of Trabzon, which was chosen as the pilot city for the first time. Students from the University of Berkeley and Turkey's leading universities came to our school in Tonya for 12 months, and they provided training to our school students with workshops on science, software, renewable energy and values.
With the support of the Ministry of National Education in our school, with the "Science Mobilization" project, more than 520,000 students have been reached so far. Our project continues.
Supporting Entrepreneurs:We know and defend the importance of strengthening the entrepreneurial ecosystem for economic development. As a strong group with an entrepreneurial spirit, we are the dream partner of Young Guru Academy. We provide mentorship support to many valuable initiatives and contribute to the training of successful entrepreneurs for the future.
Support to Disaster Areas:In February 2023, we experienced a great disaster as a country. We aim to contribute to the recovery by giving priority to local employment with our activities in the region, even after the earthquake disaster we experienced, and we are working in this direction.
